
Maria Dryanovska was born in 1978 in Sofia, Bulgaria.
In 1997 she graduated from the National High School of Fine Arts ”Academician Iliya Petrov”, Sofia.
In 2002 she graduated as a professional artist from the National Academy of Arts in Sofia, speciality Art of Painting under the guidance of prof. Andrey Daniel.
Maria Dryanovska lives and works in Sofia in the scope of drawing and contemporary painting using classical and mixed media to present her artistic individuality. She draws inspiration for her works from her experience, impressions and and stories in the field of music, personal relationships and foreign cultures. She also shows interest in the challenges of nude figure, portrait, still life and landscape.
In 2007 she was admitted as a member to the Union of Bulgarian Artists / International Association of Art to UNESCO – Department of Painting.
Maria Dryanovska has taken part in numerous exhibitions and has been distinguished with different awards. Her paintings are a possession in private and government collections in Bulgaria, Greece, Republic of Serbia, Slovenia, Austria, Germany, France, Portugal, Great Britain and the United States of America.
